Field Alarm
Semaphore Tactical Field Alarms provide an easily deployable platform on which to build sophisticated ad-hoc alarm systems using industry leading indoor and outdoor wireless alarm transmitters from Inovonics and Optex.
In as little as 3 minutes, individual nodes can be unpacked and on-line, independent of power and routine environmental considerations.
Alarms
Alarms are collected at the controller and then forwarded to a variety of configurable destinations, including:
- PSAP/CAD
- Text/SMS
- Custom Serial
Power
The Tactical Field Alarm Controller is AC powered with in integrated battery backup, providing reliable operation even in the event of power failure.
Connectivity
Connectivity for alerting is provided by one of several methods:
- 3G/4G Cellular
- WiFi (802.11a/b/g/n & 4.9GHz)
- Wired Ethernet (DSL, cable, etc.)
Sensors
Each Controller is capable of communicating with an unlimited number of sensors and each sensor may be individually identified with descriptive location information (e.g.: “3rd floor hallway door” or “South driveway beam”, etc.). Sensors are wireless, battery operated devices and both digital and analog transmitters are supported, allowing integration to complex environmental sensors (temperature, humidity, smoke, radiation, etc.).
